Florence – on the street

October 24, 2011

While Florence is known for it’s historic Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance art, architecture and churches (all of which I adore), there is also nothing better than getting lost in the city’s maze of narrow medieval streets and walkways.  Florence is such a dreamy romantic place for me, full of inspiration.  It is the cradle of great ideas and works from the likes of Michelangelo, Raphael, and DaVinci to Gucci, Ferragamo and Pucci – a stretch in comparison for some, but I love that about Florence.  I’ll stop typing and let the photos do the rest of the talking.

I was so excited to see these! That shot of the motorcycles is pretty amazing! as is the photo of alley at night, and the design on the book pages. You have a great eye! Someday…Florence will be in my cards.

These are all gorgeous (but I especially love the one of the dog and the pink scarf).
