We had a weekend of rain/snow mix, which has me hopeful winter is slowly melting into Spring. You know you are becoming a real New Englander when 40˚ weather gets you giddy and feels almost balmy…almost…
Here are also some photos from the big blizzard a few weeks ago. My poor smashed laptop delayed my posting of these. Thankfully my computer is all fixed and the massive amounts of snow in these photos is now relegated to plowed piles.

The days are getting longer and the nights shorter. The promise of Spring is hopeful on the calender with March just a week away, but if my 3 1/2 short years in New England have taught me anything, it is that “its not over yet.” So in order to embrace the cold and last weeks of winter I searched around for some winter inspiration.

Okay, enough with my pity party. The past few weeks I have had some amazing photo shoots not to mention a great trip to warm Georgia, so I should really stop being a cry baby about my other road bumps (sick household and cracked computer.) One photo shoot was with one of my favorite clients, Louis, for their woman’s resort collection. We had the stunning model Jax and a great sky blue back drop. Love, love, loved the editorial feel of this shoot. It doesn’t hurt when you get to photograph clothes from the likes of Marni, Proenza Schouler and Roland Mouret to name a few.

I also got to photograph some gorgeous hair with new client, Salon Mario Russo. Bring on the pretty!

Morning has broken

I cannot tell you how happy I am to see the sun starting to rise this morning. With my poor husband sick with a fever sweating through pajamas and sheets and bébé throwing up twice it was a long long night. But there is something about the daylight that makes it better. Big sigh and off to move the laundry along.
I also came access this lovely and much needed poem from one of my favorite writer/bloggers Lindsey Mead.
Happy Valentine’s Day

I am spending Valentine’s day in lovely Sea Island, GA. The hubby is away in California for the week and bébé and I hopped the first flight out of snowy Boston to the Georgia low country. If I can’t spend Valentine’s day with my husband what better way to spend it than with my mom and dad (and grandma and grandpa). The air is humid and rejuvenating. And my mother has the house sprinkled with white hydrangea and pink roses. We are having a sweet sweet Valentine’s Day. I hope you are too.

Well I seem to have fixed the design problem on my blog only to open my suit case and find this…arg! I know I know, so stupid to put my laptop in my checked luggage but I was flying with bébé by myself and couldnt manage all that carry on. Plus it was in a hard sided suitcase. Ugh. (The baby and I have run away to Sea Island, GA to be with my parents while the hubs is out in California for the week.). Deep breaths. Deep breaths.

Leaving Las Vegas

I am sitting in the Las Vegas airport, waiting to board my after a whirlwind work trip. I am rushing back to my husband and baby in time for her first birthday, which is tomorrow! I can hardly believe that a year ago at this time I was in labor, working hard to get baby girl here. It has been the most exciting, wonderful year of my life. But I won’t get too deep on how fast they grow up and how emotional it all is. Instead I will just leave you with a few photos from my travel.
Oh and I think I left my wordpress custom design expire. Working on the issue now…sorry for the old design.
